No Players Online

No Players Online is the spiritual successor to the liminal horror classic from 2019 of the same name. You find an old abandoned computer and log onto an old games forum. Someone sends you a prototype for an FPS capture-the-flag game. When you log in, there are no other players, but are you really alone? The full game expands beyond the initial horror setup, using it as a vehicle to tell a heartfelt story about games culture, artist relationships, and the push and pull of putting yourself and your loved ones in your work.
